B.ArchSt ; M.Arch (Prof)
Originally from Christchurch, Nigel completed his studies at Victoria University in early 2012. A year of his studies was spent on exchange at the Technical University of Munich where he honed his model making skills both at the University and while interning for 6 months at Kerhbaum Architekten in Munich. Since graduating, Nigel has worked for various architecture firms in Wellington before joining S&T in April 2014. A valuable member of the S&T family with a keen eye for detail, Nigel looks forward to working on master planning, presentation work and documentation.
Nigel enjoys the holistic nature of architecture which requires a broad range of skills and an inquisitive analysis of the built environment. He believes that architecture is something no-one ever really perfects and therefore requires a desire to keep learning, keep challenging and continually rethink how one approaches a design problem.
In his spare time, Nigel continues to feed his creativity by collaging, model making and printmaking. He enjoys a multitude of sports, David Attenborough documentaries, maps, beautiful books, dancing to 80s tunes and exploring and discovering curious locations both in New Zealand and abroad.
