After years of radio silence, Wellington Architecture Week was brought back to life to celebrate the local built environment. A week of free and accessible events including talks, exhibitions and walking tours that warranted an opportunity for the wider public to engage with architectural professionals.

Tuesday Marianne Calvelo and Ariana Pia hosted an A+W Express Series including six pecha kucha style presentations by Master Students of VUW.

Saturday included a Studio Walk that S&T Wellington took part in, welcoming design enthusiasts into the office. There was a great turn-out of varying age and interest, each earning an insight into the artistic process behind the scenes. Murray Robertson, delivered a talk on Contemporary Education in NZ and shared the multiple projects that the office is currently involved in within the education sector. He explored a range of scales - presenting design concepts of work in the pipeline, both refurbished and new build to current work on site - expecting at least 4 schools to be completed by mid-next year.
