S&T Lighting have another technical feature in the magazine Lighting: LEDs and The Return of the Flicker? This means we had no less than three articles published in 2013.

Flickering light sources is both unsightly and can cause headaches, eye-strain or even serious physical hazards. LED, Light Emitting Diodes, is a fantastic technology with great opportunities but with any new technology there are also potential risks and teething problems. LEDs often produce a high frequency flicker when dimmed, in this article I explain why it happens, as well as give five options of eliminating the flicker issues for a visually comfortable environment.
