Murray is the Chair Elect of A4LE (Association for Learning Environments Australia, previously known as CEFPI - Council of Educational Facilities Planners International) in New Zealand.
He is actively involved in the Petone Central School, where he is on the board and his children are part of the Te Whanau o Nga Rito, the Maori language full immersion unit. Excited by the transformation of modern education teaching methods and environments, Murray designs spaces that centre on students with a variety of learning settings.
Passionate about sustainable design, Murray believes that sustainable buildings improve wellbeing, are more cost efficient and last longer. He is a Green Star Accredited Professional and always seeks to provide sustainable solutions for our clients at no added cost.
Murray has been recognised for his excellence in architecture and sustainable design through multiple awards.
