B.Sc (Electrical Engineering)
Melanie joined S&T upon moving to New Zealand from Calgary in Canada. There, she worked as an Electrical Engineer in Training at DIALOG for three years gaining experience in retail, hospitality, hospitals, libraries, elderly care facilities, airports, schools, universities, highrise offices, and gas/petroleum retail projects.
Melanie is passionate about lighting design, she deeply enjoys getting to bring creativity into a typically scientific role. A good fit for S&T, she is thrilled with the idea of lighting designers working closely with architects from the very start of a project to bring the best lighting both natural and artificial to the space.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, gaming, crocheting, amateur watchmaking, and hiking/exploring.
