A new Principal was the driver for bringing a fresh vision and direction to Porirua’s Mana College. After thorough consultation, S&T set to work designing the refurbishment of the Tech Block in line with the school’s new innovative learning strategy.  The result is a light filled, open-plan space which has now become the blueprint to the school’s further development in attracting more children to the school.  Accent colours were selected based on the school’s connection to Porirua Harbour and local Iwi.

Principal, John Murdoch comments “Our Year 9 learning hub has transformed the way students and teachers interact with each other.  A warm and youth friendly space that young people enjoy being a part of.  We are excited about how this space will support effective relationships within a secondary curriculum context.”
