B.ArchSt ; M.Arch (Merit)
Having recently graduated with a Masters in Architecture, Jackie has been honing her skills in master and concept planning, BIM modelling and documentation along with 2D and 3D presentation drawings while being adept in Revit, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Focusing on the Education sector, she is quickly learning the concepts and ideals of flexible learning spaces as required by the Innovative Learning Environments (ILEs) of today’s schools.
Having been a tutor for first and second year design papers at Victoria University School of Design and Architecture, Jackie has developed her critical thinking and delved into the concept of education through architecture and learning environments which support the personalisation of learning experiences. Problem solving and working through the design process is her strong suit with her interest being centred on innovative design and multi-disciplinary projects. She is passionate about the built environment and how architecture at all scales can create opportunities for spontaneous social interactions.
In her spare time, Jackie enjoys reading novels, dancing, keeping active as well as travelling. An active volunteer, she has spent one month of her 2015 summer in Bali helping with construction and renovation projects and teaching English at local kindergartens.
