Starship Hospital

Starship Hospital

S&T’s healthcare background is one of the most enduring in New Zealand.

Our involvement in New Zealand hospital design stretches back to the 1930’s when S&T was invited to Aotearoa by the then government to assist in the design of several new hospitals. As a result, S&T’s healthcare portfolio includes significant works in Dunedin, Wellington, Kenepuru, Taranaki and Auckland, including both the architectural and building services design of the Starship Hospital for the Auckland Area Health Board in 1991.

Our reputation in healthcare extends throughout the world, with our work taking foot in Melbourne, Iraq, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Currently, we have found ourselves servicing the Pacific, with projects in both Fiji and Samoa.
