Taranaki

Based in our New Plymouth office, Daryl oversees S&T’s Taranaki operations while providing support to the wider S&T network, sharing his 24+ years’ of experience across a wide range of sectors, project scales and complexity, and delivery models.

Daryl maintains an active role in all project phases from initial investigations, planning and design through to delivery on site, and firmly believes that the key to a successful project is clear communication and collaboration between all stakeholders and the design team.

His recent projects include redevelopment of Contact Energy’s Administration and Control Building at the Stratford Power Station, relocation of Waitara High School’s Food Technology Suite, the new Wharekura (Technology Centre) at Te Pi'ipi'inga Kakano Mai Rangiatea, the New Learning Support Centre for the Special Education faculty at Spotswood College, and the new Northern Health School at Devon Intermediate in New Plymouth.

Outside of professional practice Daryl is kept busy with his two daughters, both of whom are at Mangorei School where Daryl is on the board. Otherwise he enjoys our great outdoors, and when time allows he can be found mountain biking, kayaking or fishing.
