S&T were approached by CISCO Systems Australia to undertake Interior Design fit-outs of their new premises in Auckland and Wellington. In addition to the normal office spaces, meeting rooms and service areas, the fit-outs were to include specialist training rooms, board rooms and telepresence rooms at each location. In accordance with their status as a leading-edge communications company, the fit-outs incorporated sophisticated and latest technology. In creating the first telepresence rooms in New Zealand, technology was used to simulate a “virtual meeting environment” whereby meetings can be held between people all over the World, seemingly in the same room. To achieve this S&T worked closely with Cisco consultants in Sydney, Singapore and Malaysia with long hours being spent on multi-country conference calls.
The interior design has resulted in exciting and vibrant spaces of which Cisco are justifiably proud. Work was undertaken in association with Cisco System International and Space Matrix Singapore.
