Associate Principal - Electrical Engineer - Auckland or Wellington Studio

We are looking for an Associate Principal, Electrical Engineer with 5- 8 year’s post-graduate NZ experience, preferably a Chartered Professional member of Engineering NZ.

This role will be responsible for project delivery with respect to time, cost and quality, whilst maintaining strong client-focused relationships, and will provide excellent leadership and support to the Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate operations, programs, processes and/or practices for quality and effectiveness relative to investigation, design, documentation reporting and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Assume the Project Team Leader role for projects, overseeing and implementing plans, setting project timelines, accomplishing agreed milestones and ensuring best practice business processes are followed

  • Carry out assigned specific responsibilities (eg, master specification, standard detail register, equipment maintenance)

  • Maintain professional registration/membership though meeting sector organisation qualifying standards.

Key Attributes

  • 5- 8 year’s post-graduate NZ experience, preferably a Chartered Professional member of Engineering NZ.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Experience of concurrent management of a number of large projects

  • Previous experience of successful leadership and management of a team.

  • Strong business acumen with accompanying skill-set.

  • Experience in preparing and managing budgets and financial management reporting

Registered Architect, Education - Auckland Studio

We are on the hunt for an experienced Education Registered Architect to join our Auckland Studio.

As leaders in New Zealand Education design, we are seeking a registered Architect who is passionate about Innovative Learning Environments and enriching educational outcomes for all students to join our Award winning Education team.

You will be managing a diverse range of Education projects and leading a motivated team.

Key Tasks

  • Become a leader of the practice.

  • Promote collaboration through the effective management of teams.

  • Mentor recent graduates with your design and construction knowledge.

  • Build strong relationships with clients.

  • Manage and coordinate consultants and contractors.


Key Attributes

  • A NZ Registered Architect with 7+ years' experience and understanding of the NZ building code.

  • Construction technology knowledge, particularly light timber construction an advantage.

Intermediate Revit Technician, Education - Auckland Studio

We are looking for a Revit Technician with passion and energy to join our creative Education team.

Key Tasks        

  • Designing and documenting: Typically in Revit. A good level of detailing experience is a key asset.

  • Collaborating: You will be working closely with our Design/Project Manager and Associate Principal as well as coordinating/mentoring architecture graduates with your experience and detailed design knowledge - You are a collaborator not a loner.

  • Managing: Manage your own deliverables and resources with assistance from others. You need to be proactive, well organized and a clear communicator. You will be managing documentation programmes, Revit models and resources.

  •  Leading by example: You will actively help to improve our design and documentation practices, working with your peers in our other offices and be an active member of our BIM development team.

Key Attributes

  • Experienced Revit background working in teams. Min 3-5 years on the job experience.

  • NDAT qualification or equivalent.

  • Excellent understanding of building code, timber-framed construction, masonry, concrete and weathertight construction principles and best practice.

  • You need to actively fit in with our team and have strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • High level of professionalism, honesty and integrity.

  • Ability to manage yourself and a small team and work to deadlines.
