Registered Architect, Education - Auckland Studio

We are on the hunt for an experienced Education Registered Architect to join our Auckland Studio.

As leaders in New Zealand Education design, we are seeking a registered Architect who is passionate about Innovative Learning Environments and enriching educational outcomes for all students to join our Award winning Education team.

You will be managing a diverse range of Education projects and leading a motivated team.

Key Tasks

  • Become a leader of the practice.

  • Promote collaboration through the effective management of teams.

  • Mentor recent graduates with your design and construction knowledge.

  • Hold high work standards.

  • Build strong relationships with clients.

  • Manage and coordinate consultants and contractors.


Key Attributes

  • A NZ Registered Architect with 7+ years' experience and understanding of the NZ building code.

  • Fast learner who shows initiative.

  • Energy and passion for the firm and the industry.

  • Revit is a high priority.

  • Construction technology knowledge, particularly light timber construction an advantage.

  • Excellent communication, written, reporting skills and time management.

Intermediate Revit Technician, Education - Auckland Studio

We are looking for a Revit Technician with passion and energy to join our creative Education team.

Key Tasks        

  • Designing and documenting: Typically in Revit. A good level of detailing experience is a key asset.

  • Collaborating: You will be working closely with our Design/Project Manager and Associate Principal as well as coordinating/mentoring architecture graduates with your experience and detailed design knowledge - You are a collaborator not a loner.

  • Managing: Manage your own deliverables and resources with assistance from others. You need to be proactive, well organized and a clear communicator. You will be managing documentation programmes, Revit models and resources.

  •  Leading by example: You will actively help to improve our design and documentation practices, working with your peers in our other offices and be an active member of our BIM development team.

Key Attributes

  • Experienced Revit background working in teams. Min 3-5 years on the job experience.

  • NDAT qualification or equivalent.

  • Excellent understanding of building code, timber-framed construction, masonry, concrete and weathertight construction principles and best practice.

  • You need to actively fit in with our team and have strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • High level of professionalism, honesty and integrity.

  • Ability to manage yourself and a small team and work to deadlines.

Studio Manager (Part Time) - Auckland Studio

10 – 15 hours per week

Currently we are looking for a Studio superstar with passion and energy, to join our diverse creative team in our Auckland Studio, working 3 days a week. The Studio Manager will support the firm's operations by overseeing and maintaining the Auckland office systems, processes and administrative activities to ensure the office is running efficiently and effectively.

Key tasks of the role include:

  • Administrative support to the Design Team.

  • Completion of weekly orders for stationery and grocery items.

  • Booking of travel arrangements both national and international.

  • Overseeing the contracted service staff, i.e. cleaners.

  • Provide basic IT support to the Design Team.

  • Completion of Monthly invoicing.

  • Managing the Debt collection process to full recovery.


Key Attributes:

  • Up to 5+ years' experience in a similar role.

  • Ability to learn quickly / interest in continuous improvement.

  • Energy and passion for the role.

  • Team player, positive, helpful and proactive.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Self-motivated and proactive work ethic, with the ability to work to deadlines.

Bid/Tender Co-ordinator - Auckland Studio

Are you an innovative Bid Co-ordinator who enjoys working in a creative environment delivering proposals and bids?

If so, we're looking for you to coordinate our bids and lead the process of proposals and presentations for our company.

Reporting to the Business Strategy & Marketing Manager, you'll thrive on variety and continually want to 'wow' our stakeholders with professional, creative and high quality bids, written proposals that stand out. Day-to-day you'll be supporting the marketing team, managing documents, editing or writing content to create unique presentation experiences for our audience.

 
We're looking for you to bring:

  • Superior copy writing skills.

  • Relevant experience in the production of tenders, bids and presentations or similar

  • Experience in writing for web and social media

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign.

  • Strong time-management and works well under pressure to tight time frames.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to liaise with a diverse range of personalities and to build relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Exposure to working in the construction industry would be highly regarded but not essential.

  • Marketing oriented and outcome driven.

  • A can do attitude.
