Bella hails from China where she graduated from the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture with a Bachelor in Architectural Studies in 2011. She followed this up with a move to New Zealand in order to complete her Masters in Architecture (Professional) from UNITEC in 2015.
Adept at concept design through 2D and 3D presentation drawings, her work has garnered her UNITEC’s Graphisoft Award for the Top Student in the Year 4 Design Studio as well as a win in the 2008 Revit National Design Competition of Architecture Students (CN).
Her previous experience in China included the detailed drawing of both residential and cultural architecture along with concept designs for Urban Design and large commercial buildings. Her projects in New Zealand have seen her focusing mainly on residential and concept designs for smaller commercial sites.
Bella is currently applying her skills in concept diagram and detail drawing, BIM software (both Vector work & Revit) and image rendering for S&T’s work on the Aotea Foyer Refurbishment. She has a real love for the play between the different types of software in our industry and is passionate about developing her Revit skills even further.
