Alex joined S&T after freelancing on projects such as The Performance Arcade - a week long annual festival showcasing live art in a series of shipping containers. Alex also worked on The Upstream Art Trail - a new bi-annual festival in Central Park, Brooklyn that celebrates the art work of local artists and schools.

Alex completed her thesis, ‘High Street’ in 2014 which addressed the disconnection between high rise buildings and the life of the street. Her research challenged the norms of circulation design by elevating the street through the high-rise.

Alex believes that it is important that architecture continues to address how the built environment can enhance (urban) life architecturally. She enjoys collaborating with others, problem solving and creating spaces which enhance the user's experience.

Outside of work Alex is a Volunteer at Upstream and Friends of Central Park, She enjoys a good novel, upcycling, trying new cuisine and exploring the outdoors.
